Hey, I’m  HILA CALDERON

My full name is Hilario Calderon, I have had a Ph.D. in Data Science since 2004, so my closest professional colleagues used to call me “Doctor Data“ for my peculiar approach to resolving any practical issues based on data, where I start using data as evidence and only from there do we start any analysis.

“Data really powers everything that we do.”  as Jeff Weiner said, but based on my professional experience I have the right to say: “The real power of data lies in the speed of its analysis”

In short, YES, I am a Data scientist, and as such, I’m passionate about using data to uncover insights and drive decision-making. I have a strong background in statistics, mathematics, and programming, and I enjoy working with large datasets and complex algorithms to extract valuable information.

My experience includes building predictive models, designing experiments, analyzing data, and communicating findings to stakeholders. I’ve worked with a variety of industries, including healthcare, finance, and e-commerce, and have experience with both structured and unstructured data.

In addition to my technical skills, I value collaboration and communication. I believe that effective teamwork and clear communication are essential for successful data projects, and I enjoy working with others to achieve common goals.

When I’m not working with data, I enjoy reading and learning about new technologies, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
